Food has definitely been improved since last year. Every roll had the perfect amount of rice and staff made these rolls fast as well as brining out appetizer! Will be back
This place is great! Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant, but it definitely won't be my last. My friend I both got the all you can eat sushi deal and it was totally worth it. For $29 each, you can get all the appetizers, sushi, hand rolls, and dessert you want. The deal has a couple rules associated, including a $1 charge for every piece of sushi left behind, but overall the deal is a steal. They were playing good up-beat pop music that made the dinner that much more fun. Our server was incredible as well! Aysia (I hope I'm spelling her name right) was great at explaining how the whole process works and gave amazing recommendations for rolls we should try. Overall amazing place and great food!
Why does this place not have more stars???? Like waaaaay more stars. Awesome sushi AYCE! Lots of options, fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, great service. After I walked in I was immediately seated, and as soon as I placed my order within minutes I was already receiving the first round of food, it was all beautifully presented . I fell in love with a simple salmon poke, especially as rice was perfectly warm and seasoned. Just enough sauce and such generous portions of fresh salomon. I did regret the fact that I didn't have 2 stomachs so I could try more rolls, as my eyes were definitely bigger than my belly. Luckily , they did not charge me for the six pieces of sushi left on my plate. I tried. Shrimp tempura was slightly over fried, and everything else was pure bliss and perfection. There are a lot of options around here. But I am definitely coming back here next time i'm in town.
A group of 6 went to Kasumi on Friday night. We had a complete blast and everyone ordered the all you can eat sushi (about 30 bucks per person. It was so much fun because the meal included soups, salads, and appetizers. We just passed the paper around the table and ordered a bunch of everything. We just all ate family style passing things around and trying what everyone ordered. The food was very good and came to our table relatively quickly! Our server was very sweet and tended to us when she had time. There was no bartender working so she had to tend to multiple tables and make drinks which is the only reason I give them 4 stars. She was as efficient as she could be given the volume of work she had. Yes, they need more people but what restaurant these days doesn't. This restaurant is hip, delicious, and is an excellent value for the money! Great for groups too! We will return!
The price is good but the sushi isn't the greatest quality, the cheesecake dessert is yummy but it used to be a lot bigger. The waitress we had was very nice though. The seafood boil was pretty good though not the best I've ever had but it was better than the sushi I'd say. I do like how they have the all you can eat sushi though.
